The Department of Economics & Finance at the University of Dayton is excited to announce a call for applications for the Thomas W. Albrecht Endowed Chair in Capitalism and the Common Good. This newly endowed position seeks to advance the understanding of the role of capitalism in contributing to the common good and support connections between economics and other disciplines in the spirit of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. Outside the classroom, the Albrecht Chair will develop extracurricular and cross-disciplinary activities to engage students across campus. Applicants should have demonstrated an ability to design and deliver effective courses and be able to articulate how they would work with the campus community to engage students and colleagues on these ideas.
