The CREDO Service Committee is happy to announce that we have partnered with the two largest national networks of Catholic business professionals, Legatus and Young Catholic Professionals (YCP), to connect CREDO members with service opportunities in their local areas.
Legatus is an international organization of Catholic laymen and laywomen, and is comprised of CEOs, presidents, managing partners, and business owners (with their spouses). Founded by Tom Monaghan (of Domino’s Pizza and Ave Maria University) over three decades ago, Legatus chapters meet monthly in most major U.S. cities for confession, the rosary, Mass, and a guest speaker.
Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) was founded by Jennifer Baugh in 2010 and offers young professionals in their 20s and 30s a way to go deeper into their Catholic faith, life, and work. YCP chapters are active in most major U.S. cities and frequently host guest speakers, retreats, and national events.
CREDO members are encouraged to fill out a directory form with their information, so local chapters of these two organizations might connect with Catholic economists who could offer guest lectures, consulting, popular writing, and other service opportunities that fit our unique talents within the Church. We also encourage our members to see this as a chance to connect with their local Catholic business community.
